Long long time ago, the crocodile had a smooth skin which growled in a golden colour. The coluor and the texture of his skin stayed that way because he would spend all day hiding in the muddy waters. He came out only at night. All the other animals would come to admire the beautiful smooth skin. This gave him a lot of attention and he became very pround.
